Law

                           Law

Law! Law is the base of judicial system of every country. There are too many definitions of law  available in various books. But simple definition of law is, “Law is nothing but common sense.”
Law is a set of rules which must be followed  by each & every citizen of the country, for smooth functioning & running of the society.

Constitution!  A constitution is a set of fundamental principles or established precedents according to which a state or other organization is governed. Constitution is the base of every law. Lawful remedies, rules & regulations and basic principles of laws are defined in the constitution. Every country has its own Constitution. Sometimes it become necessary to make changes into the law or laws of the nation. That changes should be made by following fundamental principles of the constitution. Sometimes it is required to declare National emergency on the basis of external aggression or armed rebellion;  this time top authority has empowered by extraordinary powers, by constitution. It is not easy to make changes into the constitution of the country. Constitution is most important part of the judiciary system.

Legal language! It is one of the important aspect of every law. This language is different from spoken language. Every law is written by using legal language. Legal language is little bit complicated to understand. It may create chaos into the mind of general public. But person who studied or studying the law can easily understand the legal language and its importance. It is necessary to cover each & every meaning of the word/ sentence while writing laws to avoid double meaning of the word/sentence.
Why  legal language is necessary ? In simple words, culprit should not get free by taking undue  advantage of another meaning of words/ sentence of the provisions/ sections of the law.

Each country has its own judiciary system and set of rules. Basic concept of Jurisprudence is, “100 culprits may let go free but no innocent should be punished.” Almost all  countries follows this basic principle of jurisprudence while making laws of the country.

In India there are two ways to become a law graduate. Students can start Law course after 12th (5 years course) and after graduation ( 3 years course). Admission procedure is not so easy. Students should have to clear entrance exam to seek the admission. After successful completion of law course students will become eligible to get  license from ‘Bar council’ of the state to start legal practice. The law degree also have local, international, and world-wide aspects. Becoming an international law attorney requires completing at least a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree program with courses in comparative or international law. Some international law professionals go on to pursue a Master of Laws (LL.M.), adding an additional 12-18 months of education.

As a already said, Law is nothing but common sense. But tragedy is that this common sense is usually uncommon.  People should aware about the rules & regulations of the society, rights & duties towards the society. It is not wrong if I said legal education is necessary to each & every citizen of the country. We must know laws of our country.
